First of all, hiring ANY photographer should not be taken lightly! Spend some time, either in person or on the phone, getting to know a potential photographer and making sure that they are a good fit for you and your family. No two families are the same, so your family and your goals for a photo session will be different than someone else's. Our goal is to create something unique that is just right for YOU and your home.
It's no secret that we want you to leave with something printed and tangible that you will be proud to display in your home. What you print and how you display will be up to you, but we will help you figure that out before we even pick up the camera!
Some interesting facts:
Most people no longer print photos at all.
Most people haven't printed a photo in 12 plus months.
Most people don't even have photo albums any more.
Why are you going to go to all of the work to hire a professional photographer if you aren't going to get those images printed from a professional lab?
There is something very powerful about running your fingers across a print or walking by a portrait of your family every day. Having portraits in the home sends the message to family members that they are special and important. Those images honor memories and experiences and will become some of your most valued possessions!
My tag line says it all! I believe it with my heart and soul. When my children were little, my mother used to say "You will blink, and they will be off to kindergarten." And off they all went! Although some of the days seemed SO long when my children were small, all of the years flew by so fast! Each phase of life has gone by faster and faster. How does this happen? I'm not sure, but all the more reason it is important to capture your newborn, crawler, toddler, teenager, young adult and family at each phase in life.
Here are some other great reasons!
Because the little details change so fast.
Because you can make time stand still with a portrait.
Because they are this little for only a little while.
Because you want to remember them just as they are right now.
Because your newborn will not fit into your arms like this for long.
Because you want to capture this time in your life forever!
Because your family DESERVES to be on your walls or in an album, not stored on a flash drive or disk that you throw in a drawer!
Custom portraiture is an investment that will last a lifetime and will be an heirloom for future generations. My goal is to CREATE that beautiful heirloom artwork that you will display in your home and pass down to future generations.
